Crystal Palace are close to signing free-agent defender Oscar Mingueza.
Your Site News understands Mingueza, whose Celta Vigo contract has expired, underwent his medical ahead of a move to Selhurst Park on Wednesday.
The defender is expected to sign a four-year deal with Palace.
Derry signs new Chelsea deal ahead of Sporting move
Jesse Derry has signed a new six-year deal at Chelsea.
The 19-year-old arrived from Crystal Palace on a four-year contract last summer but has now agreed fresh terms until 2032.
Derry - the son of former Palace and Leeds midfielder Shaun Derry - made his senior Chelsea debut in February and his first Premier League start in May.
The winger is due to arrive in Lisbon on Thursday to complete a medical before joining Sporting on a season-long loan.
Derry said: "Just having that little snippet of playing for the first team last season, I couldn't have thought of anywhere else I'd want to be for my future. It was a no-brainer."
Spurs thank Palhinha with midfielder not returning to club
Tottenham have thanked Joao Palhinha, with the midfielder not returning to the club following the end of his loan spell.
Spurs have signed midfielders Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali this summer for a combined 185m.
Last week, Palhinha confirmed his Spurs exit having joined on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich, where he has returned with a potential move back to Sporting in the offing.
Five days on from the Portugal international's exit confirmation, Spurs posted a message thanking him for his efforts after he helped save Spurs from relegation, including a final-day winning goal over Everton.
Spurs said: "Stepping up when we needed him most and giving everything for the club.
"You'll always be part of our family, Joao."

Gunn seals MLS switch
Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn has joined San Jose Earthquakes on a deal until the 2029/30 MLS season.
Gunn who started in every World Cup group game for the national side - has moved to the USA following the expiry of his contract at Nottingham Forest.
The 30-year-old who has 25 international caps also played for the likes of Norwich City, Southampton and Stoke, making around 200 appearances.
Coming off the World Cup which was an unbelievable experience, Im just really excited and grateful for the opportunity to come to San Jose and show the best version of myself, said Gunn.
Were in a really good position for the playoffs, so hopefully we can focus on that with the right mentality.

However, Newcastle are making no comment on the situation.
Your Site News understands Arsenal have made no contact with Newcastle over the availability of Guimaraes but it is understood the conditions of a deal have been explored via intermediaries.
Guimaraes is under contract at Newcastle until at least 2028, with the option to extend by a further year.
Newcastle have no interest in selling the Brazil international. Their stance has been consistent all summer - they insist their captain is not for sale and they are not welcoming any bids.
Celtic in talks to re-sign Iheanacho and keen to bring Saracchi back
Celtic are in talks to re-sign striker Kelechi Iheanacho.
The 29-year-old spent last season at Parkhead after signing a one-year deal and scored a number of key goals as the club won the Scottish Premiership title and Scottish Cup.
He is now a free agent after his contract expired and has been training on his own.
Following Celtics pre-season draw at Shelbourne last night, manager Martin ONeill told reporters in Dublin: "I'd like to do something with him. If we can do something relatively quickly, at least he then gets started in pre-season, which is really important for him.
"It's something he didn't have last year. After about three minutes, he was injured against Sturm Graz and he then hurt himself in the League Cup final as well.
I would like to have him. It would be nice. Im definitely pursuing that at this minute.
ONeill says he is also trying to bring left-back Marcelo Saracchi back to the club after his loan from Boca Juniors last season.
The 74-year-old added that he was still looking for another goalscorer, plus a goalkeeper to compete with Viljami Sinisalo for the number one jersey.
Quenda arrives at Chelsea in 40m deal
Geovany Quenda has completed his 40m move to Chelsea.
Quenda has signed an eight-year deal, which is set to expire in 2034.
Chelsea agreed a 40m deal to sign Quenda in March 2025, with the player staying at Sporting Lisbon for the 2025/26 season.
The 18-year-old suffered a metatarsal fracture at the end of 2025, which kept up out of action until March 2026.
Naturally a winger, Quenda is capable of operating on either flank.
He has already spent time using the facilities at Chelsea last season as part of his rehabilitation from the metatarsal injury he suffered.
Dragusin completes Fiorentina loan move
Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin has joined Serie A side Fiorentina on a loan deal for the 2026/27 season.
The deal also includes an obligation to make the move permanent.
Dragusin joined Spurs from Genoa in January 2024 and has made 48 appearances in all competitions for the club
The centre-back is a regular for the Romania national team with 30 caps to his name to date.
