Millwall have announced the signing of Taryk Arconte

The 22-year-old Guadeloupean forward joins from Rodez AF on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee. 

The forward scored 14 goals in France's Ligue 2 last season. 

Hibs sign Wright on free deal

Hibernian have signed Callum Wright on a three-year deal.

The 26-year-old has joined Hibsfollowing the expiration of his contract at Plymouth Argyle. 

He has become the club's second signing of the summer transfer window, following Jason Kerrs arrival earlier in June.

Head coach David Gray said: Were delighted Callum has committed his future to the club and we cant wait for him to get started.

He has all the traits you want in a midfielder; high energy, excellent work-rate, creativity and an eye for goal.

He is coming off the back of a very impressive season at Wigan (on loan) and it is extremely beneficial that he has arrived with a full pre-season ahead of him and a good opportunity to gel with the group.

Arsenal and Leicester in talks over Monga

Oxford appoint Ramsey

Oxford United have announced former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey as their new head coach. 

Ramsey has previously held coaching roles with the Welsh national team and taken interim charge of boyhood club Cardiff City.

Speaking after his appointment, Ramsey said: Its an honour and privilege to be appointed head coach of Oxford United.

From my discussions with the club, I can sense the ambition and desire for success, which gives me great excitement about this opportunity.

"This is a moment I have been preparing for over many years. Ive played under some of the best managers in the game and experienced high-pressure environments throughout my career. 

"I want to use what Ive learnt to bring a culture of high standards, professionalism and work ethic to this talented group of players." 

Arsenal 'confident' of Rogers pursuit

Arsenal are 'confident' of beating Chelsea and Manchester United to the signing of Morgan Rogers, according to The Times.

The Gunners are reportedly set to 'accelerate' their interest in the Villa forward - although, as reported below, Your Site News has been told that Villa don't want to sell Rogers.

The Times also says that Arsenal are yet to contact Villa.

Meanwhile, The Times are also reporting that Arsenal are interested in Julin Alvarez and while 'Atletico do not want to sell to Barcelona...[they] could potentially be offered a swap deal involving the Arsenal forward Viktor Gyokeres.'

Arbeloa the frontrunner for Fulham

Fulham are close to agreeing terms with Alvaro Arbeloa to become their new head coach, Your Site News understands.

Discussions over a three-year deal are understood to be very advanced and Arbeloa is said to be keen to succeed Marco Silva.

Fulham vice-chair Tony Khan - son of owner Shahid Khan announced last week that the club have been speaking to two leading candidates.

That remains the case, Your Site News has been told, with Arbeloa the frontrunner but the identity of the other candidate - and how far along negotiations are with them - unknown.

Arbeloa left Real Madrid a few weeks ago having been interim head coach following the sacking of Xabi Alonso.

Phelan takes permanent Everton job
