"Jack, at the moment, is here. He is a Man City player. I alwyas say the same, if there are players who belong to the club, it is my duty to coach them.

Maresca on Rodri's future and surgery

"Around big players, there is always speculation. I am not worried about that; it is normal. They won the World Cup and he was the best player.
"Every manager would want Rodri because he is a top player. For now, surgery on Monday and he needs a holiday; he needs to rest and needs recovery. Then he will be back with us."

Arsenal remain in contact with Hamburg about a deal that would see midfielder Fabio Vieira return to the German club.
The 26-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Porto in 2022, spent last season on loan with Hamburg and wants the arrangement to become permanent.
There have been discussions between Arsenal and Hamburg around the figures it would take to strike a deal for Vieira, who has one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates.
Vieira has joined up with Arsenal for pre-season.
Brighton confirm Murphy signing
Brighton Women have confirmed the signing of striker Emily Murphy from Newcastle.
The 23-year-old made 37 appearances for the Magpies last season, scoring nine goals and adding 13 assists.
Head coach Dario Vidosic said, Emily has shown that she has both a good eye for goal and the ability to provide for her teammates.
She had a taste of WSL football with Chelsea before then, so she knows the standards that we will be demanding from her.
Emily also adds good quality to an area we needed to strengthen, so I am excited to work with her.
Bravo joins Watford from Udinese
Watford have announced the signing of Spain U21 international Iker Bravo.
The 21-year-old moves to Vicarage Road on a permanent deal from Udinese and has signed a three-year contract.
Iker is a promising young talent, said Group Technical Director Gian Luca Nani.
His development at Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and with the Spanish national teams speaks for itself.
He is a versatile attacking player with an excellent technical quality.
