Slovak Darts Open: Results as the European Tour visited Bratislava with Wessel Nijman sealing glory

Wessel Nijman continued his astonishing season with yet another title at the inaugural Slovak Darts Open.

The ninth European Tour event of 2026 saw the Dutchman average almost 104 to power past Rob Cross in the final and win his eighth title of the year.

The victory moves him up to world No 14.

The Dutchman follows the footsteps of Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright in becoming just the fourth player to have claimed eight or more ProTour titles in one season, while becoming the first player in 2026 to claim multiple European Tour titles.

Michael van Gerwen, who was eyeing a record-extending 39th European Tour title in the Slovakian capital, lost 6-4 to Andrew Gilding.
