Durham appoint Kirk as new head coach

WSL2 side Durham have appointed Willie Kirk as their new head coach.

The former Everton and Leicester boss recently left Swedish top flight side Djurgardens, having also managed Linkoping in the Damallsvenskan.

He returns to English football for the first time since he was fired by the Foxes after an investigation found he "breached the team's code of conduct to a degree that makes his position untenable" after an alleged relationship between himself and a player came to light.

Besir signs for Dundee

Dundee have signed midfielder Zan Besir on a two-year deal, with the option of a third year.

The 25-year-old, who was most recently at ND Primorje in his native Slovenia, has joined up with his new team-mates for pre-season training in Hungary.

Harry Gray makes Sheff Wed loan move

Harry Gray has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan from Leeds.

The 17-year-old has featured for the club's first team as well as the U21s, and spent time on loan at Rotherham last season, where he made 20 appearances and scored three goals.

He is one of a long line of Grays at Leeds, with his brother Archie - now at Spurs - beginning his career at the club. His dad, Andy, grandad Frank and great uncle Eddie also played for the Whites.

Juve considering move for Stones

John Stones is one of the central defenders Juventus are considering this summer, according to Sky in Italy.

Stones is available on a free transfer after he left Manchester City upon the expiry of his contract.

The 32-year-old is one of the options Juve are exploring but it has not progressed at this stage.

Latest from Your Site News' Vinny OConnor:

Everton have an interest in Tottenham defender Djed Spence.

The England full-back is understood to have been been discussed internally as an option this summer.

However, it has not progressed further than that at this stage.

Could British-record fee prise Rogers from Villa?

A British record fee of 130m can open the door for Arsenal to negotiate with Aston Villa for Morgan Rogers, according to the Daily Mail.

However, Villa are adamant they do not want to sell the 23-year-old.

Newcastle target Manzambi to wait until post-World Cup to decide on future

Latest from Your Site News' Keith Downie:

Newcastle target Johan Manzambi is expected to wait until Switzerland's World Cup is over to decide his future.

Your Site News exclusively revealed Newcastle's interest in the Freiburg midfielder. They remain keen on the player - but face plenty of competition for his signature.

Switzerland face Colombia in the World Cup last 16 on Tuesday and, until they are out, the 20-year-old is keeping his full focus on the tournament.

Reports from Swiss outlet Blick claim Manzambi is set to miss the Colombia game after picking up a knee injury in training.

It was confirmed in Switzerland's pre-match press conference that Maznambi was one of three players to leave training early, but the reports suggests it is not a serious injury.

Manzambi has been one of the breakout stars at the World Cup, becoming the youngest player to reach five goal involvements (three goals and two assists) at the tournament since records began.

Lazetic closing in on Aberdeen exit

Latest from Your Site News' Anthony Joseph:

FC Noah are closing in on the signing of Aberdeen striker Marko Lazetic.

It is understood the clubs are ironing out the final details of the deal for the 22-year-old.

Lazetic expressed his desire to leave this summer.

He signed for the Dons only last summer on a free transfer from AC Milan, with a sell-on clause of up to 50 per cent.
