Icardi becomes free agent as Galatasaray sign Ugochukwu

Mauro Icardi has left Galatasaray and become a free agent.

Icardi, 33, spent four years at Galatasaray after initially joining the club on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

The striker scored 77 goals and contributed 23 assists in 134 natchs for Galatasaray. 

Meanwhile, Galatasaray have confirmed the signing of Lesley Ugochukwu from Championship side Burnley.

The former Chelsea midfielder joins Galatasaray on an initial loan, with an option to make the move a permanent one at the end of the season. 

Indonesia defender Baggot joins Millwall

Elkan Baggot has joined Championship side Millwall from Ipswich Town.

The Indonesia international defender made two appearances for Ipswich last sason.

"He's a good age, has a real appetite to improve and fits the profile we look for defensively," Millwall's director of football, Steve Gallen said.

Rangers are in advanced talks to sign Partizan Belgrade captain Vanja Dragojevic in a 4m deal.

Ibrox chiefs have been in talks over a move for Dragojevic, plus fellow midfielderJens Hjert-Dahl of Tromso.

While elements of the deal are still to be finalised, they have made a move for Dragojevic, 20, who is rated as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Serbian league and has two caps for his national side.

Rangers boss Derek McInnes has already added Cammy Devlin and Dan Neil to his midfield options this summer, while Lawrence Shankland, Ross McCrorie, Ben Godfrey and Ivor Pandur have also joined the Ibrox club.

Palace to send Guessand back to Villa

Crystal Palace will not trigger their buy-option on Evann Guessand with the forward set to return to Aston Villa and compete for minutes in Unai Emery's squad, according to the Evening Standard.
