Napoli join race for Vicario

Latest from Sky in Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio:

Napoli are the latest Serie A club to show interest in Tottenham goalkeeeper Guglielmo Vicario, according to Sky in Italy.

Juventus have been exploring a potential move for the Italy international as they search for a new 'keeper.

Aston Villa's Emi Martinez is Juve's first choice, but progress has been slow which has seen Vicario come into their thinking.

Any move from Napoli for the Spurs 'keeper will depend on either Alex Meret or Vanja Milinkovic-Savic being sold.

What will Munoz bring to Liverpool?

Liverpool have triggered Victor Munoz's 34.5m release clause, with the Osasuna winger set to sign a six-year deal at the club.

Here's a look at what he could offer as he edges closer to becoming Andoni Iraola's first signing at Anfield...

Gwengwe joins Newport

Newport County have confirmed the signing of striker Shaquille Gwengwe.

The forward scored 47 goals for Poole Town last season and left the club at the end of May.

Newport released the following statement: Newport County is delighted to confirm the signing of striker Shaquille Gwengwe, having beaten off strong competition to secure the signature of the 47-goal forward.

Gwengwe arrives at Rodney Parade following a remarkable 2025-26 campaign with Poole Town, where he scored 47 goals in all competitions and collected both the Southern League Golden Boot and National Game Awards Golden Boot.

His goalscoring exploits attracted widespread interest from clubs across the football pyramid, with Newport County ultimately winning the race for one of non-league football's most sought-after forwards.

The striker now makes the step up to the EFL after establishing himself as one of the most prolific goalscorers in the country outside the Football League. Comfortable leading the line, Gwengwe combines physicality, movement and a natural eye for goal, qualities he will now look to bring to League Two football. The move represents an exciting new chapter in the striker's career and adds further firepower to Newport County's attacking options ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.2

Rogers, midfield target and exits - Arsenal's transfer plans

Your Site News' Dharmesh Sheth gives an overview of Arsenal's latest transfer activity, including their interest in Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers and the potential exits from Mikel Arteta's side this summer.

How Liverpool beat Newcastle to Munoz...

Latest from Your Site News' Keith Downie:

Newcastle thought they had a deal for Victor Munoz before Liverpool swooped in to sign the Osasuna winger.

Newcastle had a 33.3m fee - an initial 29m plus 4.3m in add-ons - accepted by the LaLiga club.

The 22-year-old had agreed personal terms and told Newcastle that he wanted to come, while agent fees were also agreed.

Newcastle had the wheels in motion for a medical over in the US and felt they had a deal in place.

But they were instructed by the player's representatives to wait over the last 24 hours.

Liverpool had always been at the table for the Spain international, so they did not come in at the last minute, but Newcastle had been told the player wanted to sign for them.

Newcastle are now licking their wounds inflicted by Liverpool again after what happened with Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike last summer, and are trying to get to the bottom of what happened in the last 24 hours.

Sutton: Celtic need to spend 50m!

Your Site' Chris Sutton is expecting a busy summer for Martin O'Neill and Celtic:

"Martin worked wonders last season.

"I didn't see Celtic winning the title from the position which he was put in on a couple of occasions.

"The run towards the end of the season was extraordinary.

"You can't get away from the fact there needs to be a lot of change at Celtic in terms of recruitment.

"So Martin will be looking to, I'm sure, bring players in.

"It'll be interesting to see who goes out from Celtic.

"It looks Reo Hatate will go, possibly Daizen Maeda and Arne Engels but they're big players for the team.

"So who is Celtic going to replace those type of players with?

"I think that Celtic are possibly going to have to spend up to or more than 50m really because the squad does need a rebuild."

Arsenal make Monga move

Arsenal have made an offer to sign 16-year-old Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The exciting England U19 international is understood to want to move to the Premier League champions this summer and it is thought the deal for the player could be completed swiftly.

Monga featured in 27 Championship games for the Foxes last season, contributing a goal and an assist as the club were relegated to League One.
